A skeleton grapple bucket is a type of attachment for a skid steer that can be used to handle various materials. It has a metal frame with tines that resemble the ribs of a skeleton, and a hydraulic claw that can grab and hold objects. A skeleton grapple bucket can be useful for tasks such as clearing brush, moving logs, sorting scrap metal, or loading debris.
With a skeleton grapple bucket, you gain a wider tine gap. The reason this would be a benefit is if you want to only target large debris when using your grapple, and leave everything else. Additionally, some people will refer to this as a root grapple and it can sift and dig into root systems without pulling a significant amount of dirt out.
Some tractors may be able to use this skeleton grapple. In order to get an exact answer, contact one of our product gurus and they can dig deeper into whether is a viable solution.
