There are three common materials used for skid steer angle brooms. First, thin sheet metal, which dents and snaps easily, but saves cost up front. The downside to this is you will have to replace your angle broom more frequently, adding thousands of dollars more costs in the long run. Second, plastic, which has a similar disadvantage. Lastly, steel, which is the option we opted for. Our skid steer angle brooms have Ultra HD bristle hood of 10-gauge steel. This makes it robust and sturdy, unlike thin sheet metal or plastic which dents and snaps easily. While this may seem expensive, the low maintenance and long operating life make it cost-effective over the years.

Q: Can I add additional springs for flotation?

Yes, you can. Our skid steer angle broom has two additional slots that allow for added springs. This gives the angle broom a more rigid yest customized feel.
